brides would rather listen to advice from an outside source than from
family and friends. Believing in this, Karen Korene wrote The
Bridezilla Virus to help women prepare for their upcoming nuptials.
The pages feature narratives, opinions, and suggestions on how to
avoid anxiety, tension, and other troubles that one might encounter
in preparing for her wedding day.
Throughout her art career, Karen Korene has dominated the floral industry, specializing in wedding and special event design. She is an innovative and creative person whose witty personality and unique visions enlighten audiences.
As one of the youngest women inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), Korene has won numerous local and national floral design competitions, including the 1986 Dow Chemical design competition and 1996 FTD’s America’s Cup. She was given the most prestigious honor of representing the United States in the 1997 Interflora World Cup floral design competition.
Her passion for flowers and love of weddings established Korene to become a creative force in the wedding industry. An accomplished writer, floral designer, wedding specialist, and photographer, Korene’s busy schedule still allows her time to stop, smell, and photograph the roses.
