As one of the youngest women inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), Korene has won numerous local and national floral design competitions, including the 1986 Dow Chemical design competition and 1996 FTD’s America’s Cup. She was given the most prestigious honor of representing the United States in the 1997 Interflora World Cup floral design competition.
Her passion for flowers and love of weddings established Korene to become a creative force in the wedding industry. An accomplished writer, floral designer, wedding specialist, and photographer, Korene’s busy schedule still allows her time to stop, smell, and photograph the roses.
